Hillbilly Fashion Designer Debuts "Varmint Garment"

NEW YORK, NY – Fashion designer Alvin Edgel Hucker, who hails from somewhere in Appalachia, debuted his latest fashion line, “Varmint Garment”, at Lincoln Center last night.

The line consists of apparel draped with dead vermin or roadkill, featuring possums, raccoons, and other pesky animals. “‘Dem crazy critters ain’t just for making stew or having as pets,” Hucker said, as one of his models, Sally Jo Anne Beaufort Rose III, sashayed down the catwalk wearing a black satin dress covered with weasel pelts. The dress is expected to retail at $2,000.
